Goring Gap Run 50 Mile Ultra, Saturday 17th May 2025.

Please arrive in plenty of time to get organised before your start time. At least an hour.

The event is live tracked and the link is on a button on this page, you can pass this onto people who you would like to keep up to date with your progress.

Ensure you’re tracker is securely fitted or stored in your kit (see how to fit your tracker), they are very expensive and we need them all back.

There is a slight change in the GPX file, this was updated on the 13th May so if you downloaded it before then you can update it

New for 2024 our 50 mile ultra follows the same format as the 50K, it is a loop with camping, parking and a race village at Mapledurham House. We use the Thames Path, Ridgeway, and Chiltern Way with just one small section of out and back. Support Stations are at village halls or vans along the route. Start times are from 6.00am and we have a 14 hour cut off.

Due to Environment Agency work we currently have a slight amendment to the preferred route. This annoyingly means we will need to divert the route back to Wallingford via the outbound route.

While the run uses the route shown below we hope to have access to the ferry for anyone who would like to run the original route which may mean a few minutes wait for the ferry and is shown as a purple line on the route map below.

GPX file is now available on the link, the route is also way-marked.

Camping available Friday and Saturday night.

From 2025 Goring Gap Run & Walk will be organised by Bean Running.
